A self-proclaimed quality control freak, Justin Glasco’s production career has always centered around the song. From his start in Flint, Michigan, to Boston to Nashville to Los Angeles to Brooklyn and to Nashville again, Glasco’s early accomplishments as a touring and studio musician on multiple instruments and his insatiable love for gear led him to his one true home: the studio.
Whether subtly setting the scene to encourage the artist to be their true creative self or driving the songwriting and production process, Glasco excels in any musical setting.
Glasco’s credits include artists such as Andrew Bird, Cary Brothers, Christina Perri, Garrison Starr, Avril Lavigne, Blake Mills, Emerson Hart, Matt Berninger (the National), Tristan Prettyman, Bo Burhnam, Dan Wilson, Serena Ryder, Anderson East and Meiko, to name(drop) a few.
Alongside producing, writing and mixing, Justin also serves as a creative contributor and drummer for Nashville-based Americana band The Lone Bellow. The band recently finished recording their third album with Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb, some of which was recorded at Glasco’s personal studio where he served as co-writer, engineer and vocal producer. The album, to be released in 2017, includes songs written over the last two years of touring internationally with the band.

As an instrumentalist, Glasco has lent his skills to such releases as Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years (4x platinum) Avril Lavigne’s recent, self-titled release and the new record from Tonic front man Emerson Hart Beauty In Disrepair.
