“A half dozen years ago I said that Brian was one of the best up-and-coming producers in our business. Today, it’s safe to say he’s become one of the truly talented producer/mixers not only in Canada but anywhere!” says legendary music producer Bob Ezrin.

Based out of Hapy Hipi Studios in Toronto, producer/mixer Brian Moncarz lives to produce and mix top rock bands including Alice Cooper, The Tea Party, Our Lady Peace, Circa Survive (Atlantic), which landed a Billboard Modern Rock/Alternative #1 hit, Neverending White Lights featuring Hot Hot Heat (MapleMusic), Bleeker Ridge (Universal), Moneen (Dine Alone/Vagrant), The Reason (Warner/Anthem), The Jimmy Bowskill Band (Ruf), Yukon Blonde (Dine Alone), Poor Young Things (Bumstead) and The Junction (Universal).  Moncarz is most proud of his association with producers Bob Ezrin and David Bottrill. Through years of working side-by-side with both masters, Moncarz has honed his craft: making great records.

Recently, Brian enjoyed a #3 single with his mix of The Tea Party’s “Black River”. Brian produced and mixed a song for Warner Bros’ Ferraro, mixed new music for The Tea Party and produced new music for The Proud Sons. Previously, Brian produced and mixed Ian Moore’s Toronto album (Last Chance) and mixed 7 songs on the latest album by Our Lady Peace named Somethingness.

Brian also mixed Our Lady Peace’s “Drop Me In The Water” which reached Top Ten on Canadian AAA radio.  He also produced and mixed Secret Broadcast’s “Gimme Some Hope” single (eOne), and produced and mixed Julian Taylor’s Avalanche (Gypsy Soul).

Previously, Moncarz has had 4 singles chart at Active Rock Radio and one Top Ten single at Alternative Radio in Canada.

Brian mixed the track “The Fix” that Our Lady Peace used in this recap video from their New Years Eve show in Moncton, New Brunswick.
